Why in vogue? With gas prices climbing, sales of electric bicycles are skyrocketing. It's an unconventional mode of transportation but it is environmentally friendly. Most of these babies go at least 20 miles before needing a recharge making it perfect for those quick jaunts from point A to point B. According to a former GM executive, "The electric bikes are the next big thing."
